Answering Your Questions About Boarding & Care
What vaccinations are required for my dog?
To keep all our guests healthy, we require up-to-date vaccinations for Rabies and Distemper/Parvo. To prevent spread through shedding, vaccinations must be completed a full 10 days before your dog's stay.
What does a typical day look like for my dog?
Our days follow a cozy, home-style rhythm.
We start with some time outdoors for potty before breakfast and then a bit of quiet time for proper digestions and to prevent bloat.
With rested bellies we enjoy a day that includes a mix of supervised group play and rest. Sometimes outdoors & sometimes in the dog friendly "living rooms", with plenty of individual attention and cuddles. Just like home, dogs can choose to play outdoors or hang out on the couch.
Can I bring my dog's favorite toys and bed?
We provide high-quality orthopedic bedding to ensure everyone is comfortable. While you're welcome to bring a small blanket or a familiar toy from home, we ask that you leave bulky items behind to help us maintain a tidy and safe environment.
How do you manage group socialization?
Safety is our top priority. Each dog must first come for a 4 hour trial visit where we assess every new guest to understand their personality and play style. All dogs must show they will feel safe and comfortable here and are respectful towards other dogs. We then form small, compatible socialization groups where your dog can interact comfortably with friends of similar size and energy levels.
For safety, our smaller dogs are separated from our bigger dogs.
What should I pack for my dog’s stay?
Please pack your dog's regular food and treats in a labeled container, along with any necessary medications and clear dosage instructions. We’ll handle the rest, from clean water bowls to plenty of bedding and positive reinforcement.
Will I receive updates on how my dog is doing?
Absolutely! We love sharing photos and quick updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and settled. We keep you connected to their daily adventures and and well-being throughout their entire visit.
